NextGen Builders will:

  • Match the new pre-apprentice or apprentice with a mentor who is an experienced construction trades professional 
  • Offer tools and supports needed to navigate a challenging workplace culture and complete their apprenticeships
  • Connect Black youth to a broader network of construction trades professionals and apprentices through networking and additional professional development

Note that mentors and mentees need to commit for a minimum of one year. The program provides training and supports.
