YOUTH POLICY TABLE
Do you know someone between the ages 16-25 who is interested in making a difference and creating positive change to influence economic opportunities for youth?
Toronto Community Benefits Network is seeking youth delegates to contribute towards projects that ensure diversity and good economic opportunities for underrepresented groups ,
Youth Policy Table Ideal Candidate:
- Black, Indigenous ,Person Of Colour (BIPOC) between the age 16-25
- Individuals with a passion for overcoming societal barriers for equity-deserving communities within the construction industry
- Persons with an interest in obtaining new skills to influence policy change.
- Likes to work with other youth to discuss and advocate for system change
Youth Delegates will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with other youth in a systems-change environment.
- Become knowledgeable about Community Benefits Agreements, in the policy environment.
- Develop standards and best practices for Community Benefits Agreements.
- Build networks that will strengthen their access to leadership opportunities.
